EiP Day Trip to Oktoberfest #2 🍺

Every September, millions of people travel to Munich for Oktoberfest. This year, we’re taking you there as one of our first trips of the semester. 🇩🇪

Expect enormous beer tents, live Bavarian bands, traditional food, amusement rides and thousands of people from all over the world sharing the same tables.

It’s also a very easy way to start meeting people at the beginning of your Erasmus. Plenty of students will come alone, and a bus journey followed by a few hours around the same table usually takes care of the introductions. 😄

• 🍺 Saturday 19 September: The official opening day of Oktoberfest. You can check the event HERE
• 🎉 Friday 25 September: Festival will be already in full swing, but equally fun.

• 🌙 Overnight journey from Prague: Meet the group in Prague, get comfortable on our private bus and try to sleep during the journey.
• 📍 Arrival at Oktoberfest: We’ll take you to the Theresienwiese area, explain how everything works and walk to the tents together.
• 🍻 Getting a table: Our team will guide the group inside and help you find a place before the tents become too busy.
• 🎡 Explore the festival: Stay with the group, explore different parts of Oktoberfest, try some Bavarian food or check out the rides outside.
• 🚌 Return to Prague: At the end of the day, we’ll meet at the agreed location and travel back together.

Food, drinks and attractions are paid for individually.

The large tents have both reserved and unreserved tables. Reservations would require a prepaid package of around €60 per person, doubling the trip’s price. A big no-no for a student trip. 😄

That’s why we’ll arrive before opening, get a great spot in the queue, be among the first groups inside and head straight for the unreserved tables. Please remember that the tents manage their own capacity, so exact seating cannot be guaranteed, but arriving early gives us the best chance of sitting together.

You can sleep on the bus, so don’t worry. We’re not expecting anyone to arrive in Munich fully awake. 😊

Oktoberfest is crowded and the day can naturally become a little chaotic. Our team won’t disappear after bringing you inside.

We’ll stay reachable, organise clear meeting points and help if you lose your friends, feel unwell or aren’t sure how to get back to the bus. Nobody should have to figure everything out alone.
